"Mom, where's Fred? I just really wanna cuddle with him."
(yep, he's referring to Fred the pillow pet) Seriously. Where did this kid come from?

We were practicing the prophet and apostles picture book my friend gave us. Jack nailed President Monson, and Henry Eyring. Then said, "Deiter........(long pause)......Smoofdoorf!"

The other night a friend was saying the prayer and in the middle Jack leans over to me and says, "He doesn't even know how to say it, Mom." Then Jack had to say his own version of family prayers....the way WE say it.....

I told Jack that if he wouldn't learn to ride his new bike Santa would take it back to the North Pole. He proclaimed,
"No, Mom, I can just give it to Briggs(the next door neighbor), he needs to learn to ride one anyway!"

Oh, that Jack Boy is so darned cute! I am so thrilled that I have a grandchild who loves to eat raw potatoes! When we were cutting the potatoes for the scrumptious "Pioneer Woman Rosemary Potatoes," and I salted one and ate it and then Jack wanted to try it too, I was pleased. I was even more pleased when I saw him eating potatoes without salt when we were planting. I am so happy he and I share a taste for a delicacy that not too many others have. How fun -- to have something in common with my little grandson! Well, he looks so grown up in the pictures and definitely handsome. I love the little quotes on the sides too. It's pretty interesting and shows how his little mind works!
Love the addition of the quotes. He seriously kills me!
PS. I did notice the shoes on the wrong feet immediately. That won't change for awhile. Good luck. Mia told us tonight "seriously look at me, I am talking now" Out of the mouth of babes!
I'm so glad you were here for the 4th (and that I am here now, too, obviously - to enjoy YOU being here periodically). It was a great holiday. And yes, you look GREAT...you are very inspiring. I don't know how you do it all. I love you!
