Jack turned 7! To celebrate we had a pumpkin patch birthday party with friends and cousins! My dad took the kids on a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch, they ran through a hay maze, bobbed for apples, ate donuts off a string, had gunny sack races and ate spooky treats. He's one lucky boy!(and I'm a pretty lucky mom to call him mine)

I'm Not A Regular Mom....Shoulder Shrug

I took the day off work to ride a bus 1.5 hours with 100 screaming First Graders. Down Provo Canyon. Barf. Amy Poehler's got nothing on me.

San Diego

We just got back from a trip to San Diego, where we had a blast! Most of our family was able to go, and although it was a short trip, we had a lot of fun and made great memories! We crammed in activites for everyone, including playing on the beach on Coronado, shopping and yummy restaurants, San Diego Temple, Mormon Batallion Museum and Legoland. I'm so grateful for my wonderful family and amazing parents who made it possible for us to go!

We are too many years behind to try to catch up, but at least we can start with what's been happening now! Life continues to surprise us, but we are continually trying to do our best and be happy. We had a wonderful Easter filled with family time and reflecting on our Savior's life. Jack loved soccer season and played really well. He was lucky enough to have his cousins on his team. We love living so close to our family. This past weekend was fun filled and really busy! My dad, sister, brother in law and I all ran the RedRock Relay in Moab, then drove home as quickly as we could to enjoy Mother's Day. Being a mother is the greatest blessing of my life. It has been so much more difficult than I ever thought possible, but I thank my Heavenly Father daily for allowing me to be Jack's mother.
