.........for my lack of blogging.
Actually, there are hundreds of them....
Here are a few....
(and yes, I am attempting to get some sympathy...)
Last week I....
Had 4 root canals
And 1 filling
And 8 crowns.
More dental work than the average person has in their lifetime. I did it in 1.5 days.
And did I mention I drove to and from Phoenix to get it all done? Maybe the most dangerous 7 hours home I've ever driven, being hopped up on pain killers and all.
Then, I got 32 cold sores,
And 145 cankers.
And ate soup for 10 days.
Literally.
I got home and had to work my hiney off to make up for the time I took off.
I worked a 17 hour shift, thanks a lot, stupid call,
Then got violently ill,
And completely lost my voice.
Still ill, I drove to Salt Lake,
Took my Physics boards for ultrasound..
AND PASSED!!!!
To celebrate, Jack and I went to the zoo,
And had a blast!!!
Then I spent some quality time with my family,
Which included making fab vintage necklaces,
Chatting it up with my awesome sisters and sil,
And punching an ear tag on a cow with my Dad.
What a great week!

I heard you had been to the dentist but I had no idea you had so much done. I hope everything is beeter now and I am glad you got to spend some time with your family!!
I'm exHausted just by reading this, although I feel like I lived through it with you as you went! I'm so excited/proud of you and all you accomplished! A.) Hopefully you won't have to ever have work done on your teeth again

SYMPATHY DESERVED! Holy cow! My mouth was aching reading about all that dental work and then those cankers and cold sores. OUCHIE!

Oh Chels, at least it is over! You didn't mention the worst part...that your awesome big sister has a stupid job and you didn't even get to see her while you were in Woodland. I know that was the worst part for me.
Let's make a deal; we will use our dental insurance (that we pay for each month!) and go to the dentis REGURARLY so this never happens again. I am calling my dentist right now, then my eye doctor, and while I am at it I should probably see my OB/GYN (is has been a couple of years!). Oh never mind, I'm too busy to take care of myself. I'm sure you wouldn't understand that feeling.
You forgot to add the part about having to listen to your mother try to devise a plan to make it all better and easier -- and never being able to come up with one! Oh, how I wish I could help you. And you thought it was hard not to be able to make Jack better the last time he was sick! Imagine my feelings, seeing you go through this and not even being able to sit and cuddle and pat you and at least try to make you feel better. I am proud of you -- your tenacity is admirable! It just so reminds me of that little girl saying, "Hey, yady -- gimme some doca pepa!"

Fantastic! That deserves some serious celebration! Such a huge, amazing accomplishment.
As far as the teeth situation, I can say that I can totally relate! Last summer was my fix it all up summer and I spent WAY more hours in the dentist chair and WAY more money than I care to think about. At least it is done and it sounds like you are heading for happier times!

Even I didn't know it was that bad and I saw you. All I can say is you can handle anything, and you do. Congrats on the board passing!!! I hope life will get easier for you soon. However you are related to Billie Jo, so I won't hold my breath!

I felt so bad for you during this time. You must have felt miserable! I am SO glad you passed your boards though. That would be hard for even a normal person who felt healthy! You rock! Just goes to show how awesome you are! WonderWoman!!!
That is crazy....That makes my mouth hurt to think about! But CONGRATS on passing your boards....it is such a good feeling to have those behind you (well until you have to take them again in 10 yrs.) Good Job!
