Life is Good

Two years ago, I sat on the floor of my bedroom closet. I stared at the empty shelves and cried tears of sadness, relief, anger, fury, frustration, bitterness and abandonment. I didn't even know where to begin to pick myself up off the floor and try to put the pieces of my life back together.

While riding this crazy roller-coaster of life, I have found the most success by realizing that I will never have my "normal" life back, but accepting that this life is our new normal, and it can be good. Great, even.

For the first time in two years, I no longer feel defined by events that devastated me emotionally, and I have a brighter outlook on the future.

I have so much to be thankful for. So many wonderful blessings in my life. Life is Good.

We are so glad that you are here with all of us and being such a big part of our "normal" daily life. I love having the boys in dance and the joy they experience as they learn new things. I am so happy for you that you have gotten a little R&R lately. EVERY MOMMY DESERVES THAT! It was almost a year ago we were heading down to "pack" you up. Wow-we have come so far!

What fun -- and well deserved! Of course, I am happy that your outlook is improving. Time heals all wounds and how grateful we are for that. That isn't actually what does the healing, but it is a good cliche`. I'm glad you had fun and got to change up the scenery a bit. If you had half as much fun as the pictures indicate, you had a great time!

Who's that smokin' hot momma? My life would be oh so good if I looked like that in a bikini too! In all seriousiness, I am so happy that your new "normal" is with us. Where would we be without you and Jack? Love you guys.

Thanks for sharing your feelings, you are an example of strength to me. And um hello AMAZING body! Can you be my personal trainer? Please? Looks like it was a great cruise, wishing I was going on one soon. :)
